Thursday, August 8 from 2:30 – 5:30 pm visit Maple Leaf Spirits as they have an interactive program hosted by the Okanagan Stewardship Society. Everybody is welcome!
Enjoy the view off the patio at our Craft Distillery. Meet the experts and learn about local wildlife on the Naramata Bench! Ask questions about birds of prey, wolves, deer, bears, weather, water, vegetation or whatever you’ve always wanted to know about the eco systems here in Penticton. Adults can sample some of the award winning liqueurs offered in our tasting room. Tasting fees that day will go to OSS programs. The OSS (Okanagan Similkameen Stewardship Society) is a grassroots non-profit, non-governmental organization that helps local residents and communities conserve, steward and restore important wildlife habitats.

What Is Green Tourism? The world’s largest sustainable tourism certification program:
More than 2,300 tourism and hospitality businesses around the world are growing their business, telling their green story and reducing their impact on the environment. Beginning in the UK in 1997, Green Tourism launched its assessment and green certification program as a way to help hotels, motels, resorts, wineries, breweries, distilleries, restaurants, tour operators and tourist attractions improve their sustainability and become recognized for their efforts. Green Tourism is now growing across the globe.
“We joined Green Tourism because we believe that tourism is a strong political and socio-economic advocate for the protection of our natural treasures. Green Tourism offers us support and external feedback to reduce our ecological footprint.” sais Anette.
As a special deal for our returning and local customers, this winter we have a special offer: We give you back $3 for each of the empty Maple Leaf Spirits bottles that you bring back to us, redeemable with the purchase of a new bottle.
We all know, recycling is good for the environment, right? See you then!
